TRIAGE WIRELESS, INC. BECOMES SOTERA WIRELESS, INC.

SAN DIEGO -- November 03, 2009 -- Triage WirelessTM, Inc., a medical device company developing a new generation of vital signs monitoring technology, today announced it has changed its corporate name to Sotera WirelessTM, Inc. effective immediately.

The decision to change the Company’s name arose from a settlement with Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc., which markets certain diagnostic products under the Triage brand. Inverness obtained the Triage brand when it merged with Biosite Incorporated in 2007. Under the terms of the settlement, Triage Wireless agreed to change its name, which it has used since 2004. As part of the agreement Inverness will pay an undisclosed settlement fee.

Sotera Wireless is developing a novel technology capable of continuous, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring with arterial-line accuracy and without the need for frequent cuff inflations. The technology is the basis for Sotera’s novel monitoring platform, ViSi MobileTM, which consists of a wireless, body-worn device to monitor all core vital signs.
